Throughout my exploraotory essay, I believe I did really well connecting with my chosen article, "How Do You Tell the Difference Between Good Stress and Bad Stress?". I gave examples of daily stressers in my life, such as being a full-time college student while working at a coffee shop and being a part-time nanny. I also believe I summarized the article quite well, and went into just enough detail to still leave the article a worthy read.
My time management throughout the writing process was decently spaced out, and I was given plenty of time to brainstorm my essay for the article I chose - given that, next time I would like to be more organized and potentially have an outline for each paragraph, that way, the paper will flow better. Also, I would like to build a deeper connection and go further into detail as to how I relate to the topic.

If you've made it to my blog post section, you most likely have established that my name is Haley. And if not, hi! I'm Haley.
The primary purpose for this post, along with the weebly account itself, is for a semester-long project in English 102.Throughout the semester, I'll be frequently updating this webpage with tons of good stuff - ie, in class assignments (woo!), essays, etc. Hopefully along the way I'll be able to throw in a few great pictures of my pups Mango and the newest member, Peach. Dogs have a great way of making us feel good, don't they? Although we all face different life challenges, personal well-being typically gives us the same sense of stability (as in we all get the same warm & fuzzy feeling inside from doing something nice for ourselves). Personal well-being comes in many shapes and forms, and my favorite would have to be a nice self-care night. This includes: no cell phone/social media, a face mask, either some Netflix series or podcast playing, a hot bath, and you guessed it, wine. Hey, I'm 21. Can't forget puppy snuggles! But I guess I'm lucky, I get those all day erryday. I've done plenty of research on how to have the ultimate self-care night. I've also done plenty of research on many things - [un]fortunately, I'm a perfectionist and also sometimes a know-it-all, so if I can prove my ~stubborn~ boyfriend wrong, I will. On a serious note, I really enjoy reading and doing research, and I'm eager to see what I can discover this semester. |
